These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of StatiQ's Edge (the "Platform"). By accessing the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Nature of the Service
StatiQ is a sports analytics, research, simulation, and educational information platform. It is not a sportsbook, brokerage, or financial service. We do not accept wagers or process bets.
- All projections, scores, rankings, and recommendations are informational only.
- No guarantee of winnings, profits, or specific outcomes is made.
- You are solely responsible for any wagers or decisions you make.
- Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial, investment, or gambling advice.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account.
- You must be at least 21 years old where required by law to wager, and you must comply with all local, state, and federal laws applicable to you.
- Sports wagering is illegal in some jurisdictions. It is your responsibility to know and follow the laws that apply to you.
3. Founder Membership
- Founder Early Access is invite-only and limited in number.
- Founder numbers and status are assigned by the Platform and are not transferable.
- Access is granted for personal, non-commercial use only.
- Membership may be suspended or revoked at any time for violation of these Terms, Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
- Access is tied to up to three (3) registered devices per member.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share, resell, or transfer your account, invite, or membership.
- Scrape, mirror, republish, or resell Platform data, scores, models, or content.
- Reverse engineer or attempt to derive underlying models or scoring formulas.
- Interfere with the Platform, other members, or third-party providers.
- Use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
5. Intellectual Property
All StatiQ branding, models, scoring systems (including StatiQ Score), graphics, cheat sheets, generated content, code, and copy are the exclusive property of StatiQ. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, reverse engineer, or republish any part of the Platform without our prior written permission.
6. Third-Party Data
The Platform uses third-party sources (e.g., MLB Stats, Statcast, weather, and odds providers). We do not warrant the accuracy, availability, or timeliness of that data.
7. Account Suspension & Termination
- We may suspend or revoke access at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or Community Guidelines, or for security, legal, or operational reasons.
- You may request account deletion at any time by emailing support@statiqapp.com.
8. Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STATIQ, ITS OPERATORS, AND CONTRIBUTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS OR WAGERING LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID (IF ANY) FOR THE MEMBERSHIP IN THE PAST TWELVE MONTHS.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StatiQ from any claims or damages arising out of your use of the Platform, your wagering decisions, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
11. Changes
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced in the product. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state of the operator's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
